My husband used a Black & Decker drill for several years and has "served us well, but she has always taken an eternity to complete a job because he was so weak. Well, now flies through projects and even after falling from a roof 15ft. The battery has fallen - he jumped back and it worked like a charm.

I replaced my Makita 9.6 V with this Milwaukee 14.4. I charged the batteries and used it for some projects. 1 If the battery went dead, I die 2 Battery 2 ° The battery is fully charged before 3 or 4 weeks. Does not need to take a long time to load. That has never been a problem on my Makita. Other than that I like well. I have a lot of power and seems well built. I'm just disappointed in battery life. Ironically, I have a request for the evaluation of the same day I received Consumer Report Review Cordless Drill. This exercise came in # 23 of 39 E 'was a "fair" rating for the duration.

It’s surprising just how many products are available in a refurbished or reconditioned state. Savings of seventy percent and more can sometimes be achieved, just because the item isn’t legally brand new any longer.
